Students who join CIM | Chartered Managers Canada demonstrate a commitment to their education and a future career in management. They seek to belong to a community that shares the association’s passion and enthusiasm for the application of leading-edge management knowledge and skills.

The CIM | Chartered Managers Canada offers a comprehensive National Accreditation process through our National Centre for Management Accreditation (NCMA) that reviews academic programs to the competencies established in the Chartered Manager Competency Framework. Students enrolled in an NCMA National Accredited program are entitled to a free associate membership with the institute.

If you are a CIM member and hold a designation (C.I.M. and/or C.Mgr.), you do not qualify for a free student associate membership. Once you apply for a designation, you will become a full member of the institute which includes full membership fees.

Please only complete the application once. Do not create a duplicate student application/student member account. If you are having trouble accessing your account or would like to update information, please contact membership@cim.ca for assistance.
