Mount Saint Vincent University was established in 1873 by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul. It was one of the few higher education institutions for women at a time where their options for education were very limited and was open exclusively to women up until 1965. By 1925, the school had formed a partnership with Dalhousie University and was awarded the right to grant its own degrees. Today, they offer many full-time programs to more than 4000 students each year that are served by a faculty and staff of over 600. This four-year degree program is designed to meet your learning needs while providing a foundation in accounting, finance, management, marketing and human resources management. It is a flexible program that can be completed in-class or online.
