NCMA Professionally Accredited Programs at Humber College
Through our Toronto Chapter, CIM | Chartered Managers Canada has partnered with Humber College to ensure that they offer programs that align with our Chartered Management Program. By completing any of these programs at Humber College, you will become eligible for our Certified in Management (C.I.M.) or Chartered Manager (C.Mgr.) professional designations. Humber College offers multiple program options of varying length and focus, giving you flexibility in choosing a program that will help you develop your management skills while still being eligible for a designation.
Humber College was founded in 1967, starting out as a trade school before growing into a comprehensive post secondary institution with schools of applied arts, business, creative arts, health sciences, human studies and technology. Today, Humber college offers more than 220 programs to over 30,000 students across six academic faculties at three campuses. Graduates of Humber College have gone on to be C-Suite executives, medical professionals, entrepreneurs and much more. Humber College offers their programs across campuses in northern Toronto, Etobicoke, and at their International Graduate School in downtown Toronto with options for online and in-person courses. Humber College Certificate of Achievement – Canadian Institute of Management (CIM)
This certificate program was developed specifically for managers who are looking to obtain our professional management designations. It consists of online courses that directly align with the Chartered Management Program. The program consists of 10 compulsory courses and your choice of 2 optional courses from the Faculty of Business. These courses have three registration windows for the fall, winter, and summer terms:

*MKTG 111 & MKTG 150 count as one elective in the Chartered Management Program. If one course is chosen, the other must be completed in additional to a third elective course.
Humber College Bachelor of Commerce
This four-year degree program will give students a well-rounded undergraduate education and a strong foundation in the principles of business management. This program will teach strategic management concepts in a range of business settings that include planning, organization, leadership and evaluation. Students will also learn how to apply these concepts to business areas such as finance, operations, human resources and marketing. Other topics include business ethics, sales, presentation skills, global supply chain management, taxation and applied research methodologies. Humber College Advanced Diploma - Business Administration
The Advanced Diploma program is a three-year program that focuses on developing in-demand skills and an extensive knowledge of how businesses work in the world today. Students of this program will develop key business skills such as project management, strategic analysis, communication and teamwork. The Advanced Diploma program is built on the foundation of a solid business education and includes topics such as:
- Principles of Management
- Marketing
- Business Law
- Finance Mathematics
- Microeconomics
The Advanced Diploma in Business Administration program has two options for enrolment: standard and co-op. The standard program includes an 84 hour work placement project which can be paid or unpaid. The co-op option includes two 14-week paid work placements which are completed after your second and fourth semesters.
