NCMA Professionally Accredited Programs at McMaster University
Through our Hamilton-Niagara Chapter, CIM | Chartered Managers Canada has partnered with McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario to ensure they offer programs that align with our Chartered Management Program. Currently, students can complete a Bachelor of Technology at McMaster University to fulfill a requirement for our Certified in Management (C.I.M) and Chartered Manager (C.Mgr.) professional designations.
McMaster University was the result of educational work initiated by Baptists in central Canada as early as the 1830s. In 1887, the University was incorporated under terms of an act of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. Degree programs began in 1890. McMaster’s main campus is 300 acres of land featuring historic, Collegiate Gothic brick and stone buildings. McMaster University has a Graduate Employment Rate of 93.6 per cent, within six months of graduation. McMaster University Bachelor of Technology
McMaster University’s Bachelor of Technology is a four-year program that positions students to be at the forefront of change in engineering industries. With an average class size of 80 students, benefit from meaningful interactions with professors and students in the program. Students can apply to one of three specializations offered:
- Automation Engineering Technology
- Automotive and Vehicle Engineering Technology
- Biotechnology
Management courses make up 25 per cent of the curriculum. Students in this program are required to complete a minimum of 12 months of paid co-op experience. Upon graduation, students are prepared for leadership roles to contribute to the overall success of organizations in engineering industries.
