NCMA Professionally Accredited Programs at Lambton College

Through our London Chapter, CIM | Chartered Managers Canada has partnered with Lambton College to ensure that they offer programs that align with our Chartered Management Program. By completing any of these programs at the Lambton College, you will become eligible for our Certified in Management (C.I.M.) professional designation. Lambton College offers a diploma program with multiple options for specializations, giving you flexibility in choosing a program that will help you develop your management skills while still being eligible for a designation.

Lambton College was founded in 1967 in Sarnia, Ontario and was the second college in the Ontario college system to officially open. Since its founding, Lambton College has grown to a point where they offer over 70 programs to thousands of full-time, part-time and international students across three campuses. Many graduates have gone on to be innovative management professionals in a wide range of industries. Lambton offers their programs primarily through their Sarnia campus, but also offers courses to international students at campuses in Mississauga and Toronto. Ontario College Advanced Diploma - Business Administration

This three-year advanced diploma program combines the standard classroom-based learning with experiential learning opportunities that will give students a well-rounded undergraduate education and a strong foundation in the principles of business management as well as valuable work experience. This program will teach strategic management concepts in a range of business settings that include planning, organization, leadership and evaluation. Students will be able to choose elective courses to achieve a specialized area of concentration on their diploma. In the final year of the program, students will have the option of completing a co-op work placement to gain real world experience. They will also complete entrepreneurship capstone courses which will challenge students to use all of the knowledge and skills they have gained over the course of their studies that culminates in a series of reports and presentations that highlight their capstone project that is reviewed by faculty and corporate partners of the college.

Business Administration - Marketing Concentration

By completing certain courses in the Business Administration Advanced Diploma program, students will be able to achieve the marketing concentration on their diploma. These courses focus on key marketing skills such as sales, retailing, digital marketing technologies and consumer behaviour. In order to achieve the marketing concentration, students will need to complete the following courses:

Business Administration - Entrepreneurship Concentration

Students who want to start their own business will benefit greatly by achieving the entrepreneurship concentration on their diploma. Courses in this concentration provide a balanced wealth of knowledge in areas of business such as marketing, accounting and human resources management, giving students a well-rounded skillset that they will need to take their capstone project from a concept to a fully operational business. Students will need to complete four of the following courses to achieve the entrepreneurship concentration:

Business Administration - Human Resources Concentration

Students who are looking to start a career in human resources management will need the knowledge and skills that are gained from the courses offered within the human resources concentration. These courses cover the full range of knowledge and skills a human resources professional needs to succeed in their role. While students only need to complete four of these courses to achieve the concentration on their diploma, it is recommended that all of these courses are completed to give them all the tools they need for success:
