NCMA Professionally Accredited Programs at Georgian College
Through our Lake Simcoe Chapter, CIM | Chartered Managers Canada has partnered with Georgian College to ensure that they offer programs that align with our Chartered Management Program. Honours Bachelor of Business Administration - Automotive Management
This four-year bachelor’s degree program with honours provides a comprehensive education that gives students the tools they need to succeed in business management with an applied focus on the automotive industry. In addition to traditional topics in a business administration degree like marketing, organizational behaviour, management, economics and finance, students will also learn current issues, trends and technologies that will allow them to take proactive approaches in identifying and responding to the ever-changing landscape of the automotive industry. Courses in this program seek to provoke and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills with classes that feature guest lecturers and automotive industry representatives. Additionally, this program includes a co-op work term where students will be able to gain valuable real-world experience in the automotive industry.
Diploma in Business
This diploma program can be taken on a full-time or part-time basis and takes two years to complete with full-time studies. The Diploma in Business program will provide students with the foundational knowledge needed to manage a business with a focus on managing people and processes. Topics covered in this program include marketing, accounting, economics, and human resources. These courses seek to give students a solid framework to start or further their careers, or transition into an accelerated degree program or post-graduate diploma program to further their education.
