Spring 2026 Issue

Leadership today is being redefined by a convergence of perspectives that challenge how we think, communicate, and lead. In this Spring 2026 issue of The Canadian Manager, we explore the expanding definition of effective leadership, from the practical application of emotional intelligence in coaching and the recognition of neurodiversity as a strategic asset, to embedding fairness in everyday management decisions and fostering meaningful growth as a leader. This issue also examines the evolving language of sustainability, CSR, and ESG, and how what we say (or choose not to say) shapes perception and progress. Alongside these insights, we reflect on the more personal dimensions of leadership, including staying connected to purpose and joy, presenting ourselves authentically, and creating cultures that invite possibility. Together, these articles offer both reflection and action, encouraging leaders to lead with greater intention, inclusivity, and impact.
