Membership Categories

REGISTERED MEMBER

Registered members are those who, having met the Institute's requirements, are entitled to use the protected professional designations, C.I.M. or C.Mgr.

GENERAL MEMBER

Individuals who are not registered members but, by virtue of their background, education and/or experience wish to hold membership for purposes of their own interest.

CORPORATE MEMBER

A corporation or other business entity that holds corporate membership.

CAMPUS MEMBER

Students who are enrolled in a full-time degree, diploma or certificate program in management at a recognized Canadian academic institution.

Although Campus Membership is free, students must maintain campus membership throughout their academic program in order to qualify for credit towards the Supervisory Management Program (CSM) or Chartered Management Program (CMP) without the necessity of a credit application form and associated fees.

LIFE MEMBER

A member of the Institute who is recognized as contributing exemplary service to the Chapter and/or at the National level.
