BIO FOR PATSY MARSHALL

Patsy Marshall is a highly regarded, energetic, results-oriented speaker, trainer, consultant and volunteer who takes great pride in influencing the human side of business. Patsy’s sessions are focused, interactive, upbeat, inspirational, and most importantly, practical. She has presented numerous keynotes and workshops to a wide variety of audiences.

Patsy has extensive experience in adult education and organizational effectiveness. She has been in full-time senior leadership positions in health care (8 years in respiratory medicine and 8 years as Director of Education with the Homewood Health Centre). Since 1993, Patsy has been President of her own training and development company, Train on Track. She continues to teach with Conestoga College, Sheridan College, Mohawk College, Brock University, McMaster University, University of Guelph and the University of Waterloo.

She has received the Woman of Distinction Award - Training and Education, from the YM/YWCA in 2012. She was the Y`s Honourary Chair for the Women of Distinction`s 20th Anniversary in 2015. Patsy also received the J. David Stewart, in 2007, from Conestoga College for teaching excellence and leadership. Patsy has always been active in her community and has served on many boards. She was the District Governor of Rotary District 7080  for the year 2014-2015. In this capacity, she oversaw 49 clubs, and 1750 people.  Patsy continues to be active with Rotary and belongs to the Rotary Club of Guelph Trillium. She is also a board member with the Sunrise Therapeutic Riding and Learning Centre.

Patsy is married to Jim and they have two grown children.
