Northern Alberta & Northwest Territories Chapter Education Partnerships
The Northern Alberta and Northwest Territories Chapter has fostered partnerships with educational institutions in the Edmonton area to ensure they provide programs that align with the management competencies required to hold one of our professional designations. These partnerships and NCMA Professionally Accredited Programs give aspiring management professionals the skills to become effective team leaders, and opportunities to put their skills into practice. While enrolled in an NCMA Professionally Accredited Program at one of the following institutions, students will be eligible to register with CIM | Chartered Managers Canada for free with a student associate membership.
Accredited Organizations
MacEwan University
MacEwan University currently offers two NCMA Professionally Accredited Programs. Upon completion of one of these programs, and passing the Management Aptitude Evaluation (MAE), graduates will be eligible for the Certified in Management (C.I.M.) professional designation. Graduates of the Bachelor of Commerce program can become eligible for the Chartered Manager (C.Mgr.) professional designation after meeting the professional-level management experience requirements.

Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT)
The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology currently offers three NCMA professionally accredited programs. Graduates of any of these programs will be eligible for the Certified in Management professional designation. Additionally, graduates of the Bachelor of Business Administration program who have acquired 48 months of professional-level management experience will become eligible for the Chartered Manager professional designation upon completing and passing the Management Aptitude Evaluation.

- NAIT Diploma in Business Administration – Management (Entrepreneurship)
Keyano College
Keyano College currently offers two NCMA professionally accredited programs. Graduates of either of these programs will be eligible for the C.I.M. professional designation upon passing the MAE.

- Keyano College Diploma in Business Administration (Management)
The King's University
The King’s University currently offers one NCMA professionally accredited program which is the Bachelor of Commerce program. Graduates will be able to complete the MAE right away to attain their C.I.M. professional designation and apply to receive their C.Mgr. designation upon acquiring 48 months of professional-level management experience.
