Chapter Overview
Welcome to the Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter of CIM | Chartered Managers Canada. We are proud to belong to one of the most prestigious professional management organizations in Canada. Since 1942, the associations has been providing education and professional development to experienced and aspiring managers alike.
As a Chapter, we continue to develop strategic partnerships throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. We are making great strides to enhance management professionalism for our entire province. Nationally, we partner with active Chapters from coast to coast to provide a continuity of support and a viable network for all of our members.
Newfoundland & Labrador Chapter Education Partnerships
CIM | Chartered Managers Canada values education that empowers students to develop their skills and grow into confident and competent managers and business leaders. The Newfoundland & Labrador Chapter in St. John’s has specifically partnered with Keyin College and their nine campuses across the province. Our partnership ensures that they offer programs that meet the requirements of the Chartered Manager Program (CMP) enabling students to become eligible for our management designations upon completing their program. If you are looking at post-secondary programs in Newfoundland & Labrador to advance your career in management, consider this program to help you obtain our C.I.M. and C.Mgr. designations. We are continuing to add more accredited programs in the future.
CIM | Chartered Managers Canada's Newfoundland & Labrador Chapter Annual General Meeting
Members of the Newfoundland & Labrador Chapter come together once a year for their local Annual General Meeting. Chapter members meet to discuss their vision for the chapter, new developments in management and leadership, and the chapter committee begins to plan events and opportunities for the coming year. The last annual general meeting for the Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter was held on October 16th, 2021 at the Pantry Café & Gardens in St. John’s. New members are encouraged to come to the annual general meeting and any other events the chapter organizes to meet other members, network and share your perspectives with your peers.
