Chapter Overview
The Lake Simcoe Chapter of CIM | Chartered Managers Canada has provided the association with several National Directors over the years. We are an active and customer-focused Chapter that has been meeting the needs of a very diverse geographical and economic market in Central Ontario. The region has seen rapid growth in recent years, leading to many fantastic opportunities for our members to contribute and make their mark. This region features strong manufacturing, agriculture and natural resource sectors that are always in need of competent managers. In addition, this Chapter has hosted a National Conference.

With an already strong automotive manufacturing, agriculture, and natural resources sector in the region, and plenty of space for future growth, the region has no shortage of opportunities for managers to apply their business leadership skills and contribute to a rapidly growing regional economy. There are many organizations that are in need of competent managers which means our members who hold a Certified in Management (C.I.M.) or Chartered Manager (C.Mgr.) designation are valuable assets that are in high demand with businesses in the region.
Lake Simcoe Chapter Education Partnerships
CIM | Chartered Managers Canada values education that empowers students to develop their skills and grow into confident and competent managers and business leaders. The Lake Simcoe Chapter has partnered with Georgian College in Barrie to ensure that they offer programs that meet the requirements of the Chartered Manager Program (CMP) so students can become eligible for our management designations upon completing their program. If you are looking at post-secondary programs to advance your career in management and are interested in the automotive industry, consider this program to help you obtain our C.I.M. and C.Mgr. designations.
