Manitoba Chapter Education Partnerships

The Manitoba Chapter works closely with educational institutions across the province. These partnerships and NCMA Professionally Accredited Programs give aspiring management professionals the skills to become effective team leaders, and opportunities to put their skills into practice. If you make the choice to enroll in one of the NCMA Professionally Accredited Programs at a post-secondary institution in Manitoba, you will also be able to register with CIM | Chartered Managers Canada for a free student associate membership.

Accredited Organizations

The courses and knowledge requirements a professional manager will need to qualify for the Certified in Management (C.I.M.) or Chartered Manager (C.Mgr.) designation are outlined by the Chartered Management Program (CMP). The following post-secondary institutions provide NCMA Professionally Accredited Programs that meet the requirements of the Chartered Management Program.

University of Manitoba

The University of Manitoba offers one NCMA Professionally Accredited Program. The Certificate in Management and Administration program allows students to qualify for their C.I.M. designation upon graduating and passing the Management Aptitude Evaluation (MAE).

University of Winnipeg

The University of Winnipeg currently offers three NCMA Professionally Accredited Programs.

• University of Winnipeg Bachelor of Business Administration
• University of Winnipeg School of Professional, Applied, and Continuing Education (PACE) Management Certificate
• University of Winnipeg School of Professional, Applied, and Continuing Education (PACE) Human Resource Management Diploma

Upon completion of either the diploma or certificate program as well as the Management Aptitude Evaluation, you will become eligible for a C.I.M. designation. After completing the Bachelor of Business Administration program, acquiring 48 months of professional-level management experience and passing the MAE, you will become eligible for the Chartered Manager designation.
