Kitchener-Waterloo Chapter Education Partnerships

CIM | Chartered Managers Canada values education that empowers students to develop their skills and grow into confident and competent managers and business leaders. The Kitchener-Waterloo Chapter has partnered with a number of post-secondary institutions in the area such as Conestoga College and Wilfrid Laurier University.

This ensures that they offer programs that meet the requirements of the Chartered Manager Program (CMP).  Students can become eligible for our management designations upon completing their program.

If you are looking at post-secondary programs in the Kitchener-Waterloo area to advance your career in management, consider these programs to help you obtain our C.I.M. and C.Mgr. designations.

Wilfrid Laurier University

At Wilfrid Laurier University, courses are offered in a variety of classic and cutting-edge fields, including music, science, social work, business, and economics. They all ultimately point to Laurier's resolve to address major social, health, and environmental issues while advancing the arts.

The educational equation includes more than just classroom instruction. A defining feature of the Laurier experience is applying knowledge to real-world problems. The objective of experiential learning activities like co-op work terms and community service is to help students connect what they learn in the classroom to their real-world experiences. As a result, Laurier graduates have the knowledge and abilities necessary to excel in the post-college environment.

Our world faces complex challenges; Laurier graduates are ready to tackle them. It’s about forming a foundation of service that students continue long after graduation.
