Cape Breton Branch has represented CIM for many years now, and has progressed from a Branch which focused almost solely on education to a full-service Branch with an active Board of Directors and a bright future. Cape Breton is a member of the Institute's Atlantic Region.
Cape Breton uses the following educational institutions:
- Highland Resources College
- Cape Breton University
The highly popular CSM program is offered solely through Highland Resources College. Graduates from this program are subsequently encouraged to obtain their CIM certification through the correspondences program with National Office.
Canadian Institute of Management accepts credits earned through the Bachelor of Business Administration program at Cape Breton University as equivalencies for the C.I.M. designation upon application by the student or graduate of the program.
